Mid-tide brings mainly left-handers, with occasional tubular rights at high tide; conditions are considered beginner-friendly for windsurfing when swell is small. Kiting is banned in summer due to bather numbers and unsafe at high tide when the beach narrows. Supervised bathing runs July-August. Tidal range reaches up to 8 metres.
