The shoreline is coarse sand mixed with small stones, and the seabed is rocky with a gentle entry slope, hosting over 700 recorded marine species — favoured for snorkelling and beginner scuba diving rather than surf or wind sports. No lifeguard service is present, and dogs are prohibited on the beach.
