A wide, flat, fine-sand beach stretching over 3 km on Valencia's coast, facing ENE with negligible tide and gentle entry. A beach break with small to medium wind-driven waves in NE or E wind, otherwise flat to choppy, suited to flat-water and light-wind sports and bathing. Kitesurfing is confined to an authorised channel about 4 km north, not the main beach. A nearby breakwater is a hazard. Cruz Roja lifeguards cover 15 March-15 October.
