Described as having strong waves and a high danger rating, though also characterised as a sheltered beach break, best on a NW groundswell with offshore south wind. Tidal pools form on the sand at low tide. Daily lifeguard cover runs from 20 June to 8 September, with a defibrillator on site. Dogs are banned 1 June-30 September.
