A roughly 400m bay sheltered by reefs and an offshore islet, forming a flat-water lagoon used for windsurfing, wing foiling, swimming and SUP, with a reef further out producing waves. The sandy bottom has rock and volcanic relief exposed at low tide, requiring water shoes; entry/exit is best within about 1.5 hours of high tide. It lies within a protected dunes natural park. Lifeguards are present, with naturist use on the northern stretch.
