A 3 km fine-sand, north-facing beach at the tip of the Cotentin peninsula — voted France's most beautiful beach by The Telegraph — popular with windsurfers and kiters for cape-amplified winds. Waves are small but reach 1.5 m in strong wind and 3 m offshore in northeast swell. Rocks emerge at low tide near the nautical club, and currents run up to 10 knots beyond the offshore marker buoy. Kiting is banned 10:00-19:00 in July-August.
