A small, sheltered harbour beach inside a pleasure port, protected by a jetty, with a mixed sand, pebble and hardstanding bottom, and rocky ground to the north. Harbour walls block swell, so there is no surf break - a calm bathing spot, not a wave or kite site. Swimming is unsupervised. The harbour can drain at low water on large spring tides, so entry and exit suit mid-to-high tide. Dogs banned 10:00-20:00, mid-April to September.
