A west-facing North Sea sandy beach break on Texel, just north of the Paal 9 surf and kite area, with breakwater structures nearby creating defined peaks and bowly right-handers peeling into shallow water at low tide. NW wind/swell brings the biggest surf; SW wind gives flatter conditions for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Kitesurfing is permitted only from paal 10.93-11.68, advanced-only. Not a supervised swimming section; nearest lifeguard post is Paal 9.
