A small, secluded, cliff-framed inlet with a rocky bottom and shelves of submerged rock rather than sand — the foreshore is old seaweed over rock, with stone slipways and rock pools, favoured for snorkelling among marine life. A small marina sits within the cove. Sheltered and calm with no surf break, it has no lifeguard; the nearest lifeguarded beach is roughly 500 m away. Entry is over rock, so care is needed underfoot.
