A small, sheltered U-shaped cove of coarse sand and pebbles, about 70 m wide, protected from prevailing winds by surrounding cliffs and known for exceptionally clear, calm water. The seabed is mostly rocky with patches of sand and underwater vegetation; rocky edges line both sides. No lifeguard is on duty. Water shoes are advised for the rocky bottom. Best suited to flat-water swimming and snorkelling rather than any watersport.
