A long (1.8 km), wide, fine-sand beach in a protected dune and lagoon area between two marinas - the area's primary kitesurfing and windsurfing venue - remaining flat and shallow, wadeable roughly 60 m offshore, for swimmers. Kitesurfing and dogs are permitted only at one end, the only stretch in the municipality allowing dogs. Cruz Roja lifeguard cover is seasonal, peaking in August. Heavy boat traffic at both marina ends is the main hazard.
