A large, well-serviced urban sand beach on the south part of the town's main seafront, roughly 700-800 m long with fine golden sand. Facing SSE, it is sheltered from the dominant Tramontane wind, giving calm conditions with small waves - suited to flat-water swimming, paddleboarding, and family use rather than surfing or kitesurfing. A bathing area is buoy-marked with a floating pontoon. A lifeguard post operates in summer. Dogs are not permitted.
