A long, wide, pale-golden beach on a sheltered leeward coast within a protected Natura 2000 zone. Sandy, hazard-free bottom and strong, reliable wind (esp. April-Sept) make it a flatwater windsurf/kitesurf spot with no wave break. Its tide-filled lagoon is calm and standing-depth at higher tide, good for beginners, but too shallow as tide drops, so windows follow tide tables. Lifeguard cover is listed; an on-site centre runs its own rescue boat/jet-ski.
