A remote Atlantic beach below steep cliffs on Whitsand Bay's western edge, reached via a steep cliff path. Sandy beach break with rocky outcrops gives lefts and rights on SW swell with NE wind; strong rip currents are the main hazard. An active MOD firing range sits above and can close the beach without warning. RNLI lifeguards patrol mid-May to late September; high tide nearly covers the beach, exit can be wave-washed.
