The sandy seabed slopes rapidly, so water is calm and clear but deep within a few metres of shore; snorkelling around the rocks is noted. Afternoon Mistral winds bring chop and a short shore break, attracting experienced windsurfers; mornings are typically glassy. Lifeguards are on duty in summer.
