A small (50 m), sheltered, west-facing horseshoe cove of fine golden sand, with a gentle slope and rocky outcrops on both flanks offering snorkelling habitat. Fully protected from swell and currents, the bay holds calm, flat water rather than a surf break, suited to swimming, snorkelling, and paddleboarding rather than surfing or wind sports. Lifeguards are present in summer, providing disabled-access water entry with an amphibious wheelchair.
