A sheltered, semi-urban Blue Flag beach of fine white sand, roughly 400m by 80m, in a small bay near Portonovo. Water is calm and clear with little wave break, suited to swimming, sailing, windsurfing and kayaking rather than surf; the swim zone is buoyed off from a separate boat-mooring area. Facilities include a beach bar and kayak/windsurf rental. Dogs and nudism are not permitted. Lifeguard cover runs daily through summer.
