The sandy beach-break has submerged reef slabs and rip currents; surfable waves need a large west-to-northwest swell and rarely arrive, so it mainly serves wind and kite sports. Kitesurfing is banned 10:00-20:00 (15 Jun-15 Sep) outside a 300 m launch corridor, and above 7 m depth. Lifeguards patrol July-August, 12:30-19:00.
