The bottom is fine, well-compacted sand with a gradual depth increase and no reef or rock hazards; sheltered from ocean swell, it suits swimming, pedalos and paddleboarding rather than surf, though a kitesurf zone is designated nearby. Dogs are banned in summer season. Firefighters supervise from mid-June to 14 September, with a defibrillator on site.
