The longest beach in its resort area, roughly 646 m of fine golden sand backed by pines, with a gentle, deepening bottom and calm, sheltered water producing only small wind-driven waves, not a true surf break. A surf practice area and watersports hire (banana boat, parasailing, jet-ski, pedalos) sit on site; a sailing club operates nearby. Nudism is prohibited. Lifeguards and a rescue ambulance run 15 May-15 October; an amphibious wheelchair is available.
