A 700 m south-facing bay beach of coarse golden sand, sheltered by rocky headlands acting as natural breakwaters. Waters are consistently calm with minimal wave action, suited to swimming and calm-water paddling rather than surf or wind sports. A licensed operator runs water-skiing, parasailing, jet-ski tours and towed inflatables from the beach daily, mid-May to late September. Lifeguard cover runs 15 May–15 October.
