A 1.3 km arc of imported sand beside a fishing village, made permanently flat and sheltered by a large offshore breakwater. This is a calm, family-oriented bathing beach rather than a surf or wind-sports venue, suited to swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking. Lifeguards cover the beach year-round on seasonal hours, with a first-aid post on site. Tidal state has little effect on the calm, breakwater-protected water.
