A sheltered, calm urban beach of 300-400 m with a gradual sandy bottom and some rocks at the water's edge; it is partly shielded by a port breakwater, with no surf break. Suited to paddleboarding, and to kitesurfing and windsurfing when wind allows, rather than surfing. Dogs and nudism are not permitted. Blue Flag certified. Lifeguard cover runs roughly 1 June-15 September plus Easter week, 10:00-20:00 in high season.
