A long (2.1 km), wide, fine-golden-sand urban beach on Valencia's coast, east-facing, bordered by dunes. North and central stretches are calm, suited to swimming and paddle surf, while the south end near the port pier is a beach break with a fast right-hand wave and faces typically 1-1.5 m, best with S/E/NE swell and NW/W offshore wind. Windsurf and kitesurf hire is available in summer; a naturist section exists. Blue Flag and ISO 9001 certified.
