A broad, semi-urban sandy beach with coarse golden sand and some gravel, holding calm bathing conditions along most of its length and recognised as a windsurf/kitesurf/surf spot driven by westerly storm winds and local thermal easterlies. The western end near a rambla mouth turns muddy and root-tangled and should be avoided for swimming or watersports. Lifeguard cover runs 1 June–15 September, with July–August hours of 10:30–20:30.
