It is a fairly exposed beach break with left- and right-hand waves, inconsistent surf, northeast groundswells, and best offshore wind from the south-southwest. The area is one of Tenerife's windiest zones. Currents are generally not strong, but gusty conditions call for caution. At low tide the beach widens considerably. Unsupervised, with no lifeguard service.
