The longest beach in a protected regional park — about 700 m of fine golden sand backed by mobile dunes, with no built infrastructure. A beach break with moderate wave action, the wider park draws surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers, and the gently sloping sandy bottom gives easy entry. Vehicle access is banned June–September (shuttle only), dogs are excluded through the nesting season to 30 September, and it alone in the park has a summer lifeguard.
