Offshore sandbars break into waist-high waves, making it a notable wave-riding spot, while winter/spring Mestral and Gregal winds draw wind and kite sports — kitesurfing is banned here in summer. A shallow lagoon behind the sandbar suits kiting but is too shallow for windsurfing. An estuary current runs near shore. Cruz Roja rescue on-site; tents and fires prohibited. Blue Flag.
