A long, roughly 1.5 km, fine-sand beach backed by a protected dune system of high ecological value, with walkways to protect the dunes. The east-southeast shore is sheltered from prevailing westerly winds, giving calm water, low swell exposure, and gentle waves, suited to swimming, SUP, and kayaking rather than surf or kite. Rocky areas nearby suit snorkelling. Cruz Roja lifeguards cover 1 June-30 September, daily 11:00-19:00. Blue Flag certified.
