A small, quiet boulder-bottom beach in an upmarket residential enclave; a niche advanced surf break noted for holding the largest winter swells, best December-February with waves 1.4-2.5 m on northerly/north-easterly winds at low tide, and also a calm rocky bay used for introductory diving. Hazards: sea urchins on rocks, rip currents, jellyfish. The right side has a paddling lane, the left rocks and urchins. No lifeguard service.
