An 11km-plus, west-facing sandy strand within a protected SAC/SPA, with a sandy-bottom beach break offering lefts and rights that is frequently wind-affected, making it a regular windsurf and kitesurf wind window as well as a surf spot. Surf is rideable at all tide stages. Seasonal lifeguards patrol daily June-August, weekends into September, between red and yellow flags. Vehicles aren't permitted on the sand; dogs must be kept on a leash.
