A wild, exposed 3km Atlantic beach break between two coastal towns, sandy bottom scattered with submerged rocks, consistent left and right peaks, best surfed on a rising tide at low-to-mid water. Swimming is officially prohibited: powerful rip currents, a steep gradient and unpredictable shore-break, with "No Swimming" signs posted. No lifeguards have ever been stationed here. Shoredump develops at high tide; strong rips persist through the tidal cycle.
