A sweeping, roughly 5 km west-southwest-facing sandy bay on the Gower Peninsula, fully exposed to Atlantic swell and wind, with a beach break of lefts and rights and consistent surf year-round. The wreck of the Helvetia becomes a submerged hazard around three-quarter tide. There is no lifeguard patrol, and strong undertows occur in big surf. The Worm's Head causeway floods roughly 2.5 hours either side of low water. Dogs allowed year-round.
