An 8 km arc of sandy beach at the edge of Cagliari, home to a lively bar/beach-club with food and music. Facing south-east, it turns choppy under strong easterly or scirocco winds, making it mainly a wind and kitesurfing venue rather than a surf break. A recognised kite zone sits further along the strip, with kiting relocated elsewhere in crowded summer months. Lifeguards cover the beach daily, 30 June–14 September, 09:00–19:00.
