A 1.1 km west-facing sandy beach in south-west Sardinia, calm and family-friendly in settled weather but producing significant surf and strong currents on westerly swells. The bottom slopes gently; a left-hand point break works on west swell with easterly offshore wind, drawing surfers and, on windy days, windsurfers and kitesurfers. Sand and shell collection are prohibited. A lifeguard patrols in season, enforcing red-flag closures in strong conditions.
