A sheltered, very shallow white-sand beach on an island's west side, within a strict national-park marine reserve, popular in summer. Water stays shallow for about 400 m, with posidonia seagrass on the beach and in the shallows; calm flat water with no surf suits swimming and snorkelling. Motorised craft banned within 600 m. The island's only lifeguarded beach, with seasonal cover daily 1 July-31 August; step-free access provided since 2012.
