A long, narrow pebble bay sheltered between two headlands on the Riviera, with calm, clear, flat water suited to swimming, snorkelling and flat-water paddling rather than surf or wind sports. The pebble-and-rock bottom makes footwear advisable. A nautical club offers kayak, canoe and paddleboard rental. Supervised swimming runs mid-June to mid-September with a seasonal rescue post. Road access is difficult, via a railway crossing.
