A sheltered sandy cove on the eastern, bay-facing side of the Quiberon peninsula, facing east-northeast, with rocks at the flanks as the tide drops. At low tide the beach extends to roughly 1 km of sand; at high tide it contracts to a few sandbanks. It hosts a sailing school, kitesurf zone, windsurfing, and diving, with swim zones and channels marked by buoys. Kite sports are restricted to within 3 hours of low tide.
