A family sandy beach, gently shelving, on the SW-facing Bay of Biscay coast; curved shape and rocky outcrops give more wind shelter than the open beach next door — suited to sailing, windsurfing and calm water rather than surf. Sand is coarser and golden, mixed with pebbles and rocky ground on the right side. Water sports use a designated access channel; kitesurfing is permitted. Dogs banned April–September. Lifeguards patrol 12:30–19:00, July–August.
