A roughly 2 km, west-facing beach of coarse sand south of a pleasure port, rated an easy beach break and a popular venue for kite, windsurf and wingfoil. It produces left and right-hand waves, best with SW swell at low tide. A kite/windsurf zone runs in summer, though land-kiting is banned in July-August and bathers have priority. The beach is largely absent at high tide, exposing rocks at low tide.
