A 740 m fine-sand beach on the exposed Atlantic coast, the largest locally, backed by a rock dike exposed at high tide, when the beach is largely absent. A beach-and-reef break with left-handers and submerged rocks as the main hazard. Sessions are effectively limited to about two hours around low tide. Kite and windsurf work on N, W and S winds but are expert-only, given the rocks. SNSM lifeguards cover July-August, 13:45-19:00.
