A 1.4 km, northwest-facing sandy beach beside the island bridge, sheltered from Atlantic swell with flat water across a wide wind window, suited to kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and windsurfing rather than surfing. Oyster-farming concessions cover the intertidal zone, exposing sharp shells and mussels at low tide, and currents strengthen as the tide ebbs; sessions are best timed around high tide. Unsupervised, with dogs banned 1 June-30 September, 10:00-20:00.
