A 900 m sheltered urban beach of fine golden sand, with pebble and rocky sections at the edges. Beach-break surf needs strong Atlantic swell and suits low-to-intermediate riders, best on a rising low tide. A municipal ordinance bans surfing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing and kayaking in the bathing zone during bathing season. Dogs are prohibited. Cruz Roja lifeguards and a rescue boat cover the beach daily 11:30-19:30, 15 June-15 September.
