A small, semi-sheltered WNW-facing sandy beach hemmed by sea caves and rock formations, with a sand-bottomed beach break carrying strong, consistent Atlantic waves used by surfers and SUP riders. At high tide parts of the beach disappear; at low tide a wide sandy area opens and merges with a neighbouring beach, though rocks remain a hazard throughout. Dogs banned 1 June-30 September. Lifeguard cover is weekend-only in summer.
