The open beach carries genuine swell as Menorca's main surf spot, while the sheltered bay behind it offers flatwater for windsurfing and kitesurfing in north, NE or E winds. Depth reaches 5-6m close inshore, with shallows and rocks near the ends. Kitesurfers must launch from the west side; a seasonal lifeguard operates in summer.
