A wide, west-facing arc of fine white sand in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, calmer at the sheltered south end and more powerful, rip-prone at the exposed north end. A beach break across multiple banks produces lefts and rights up to 50 m, including a low-tide right-hander at the north end. RNLI lifeguards patrol late May to September, with weekend cover into late October. Rip currents there are a recurring hazard. Dogs banned 1 May-30 September.
