A wide, NNW-facing Atlantic beach with a mixed sand-pebble bottom that changes with tide: fine sand and a flat bottom at low water, pebbles dominating at high water. Favoured by surfers, windsurfers, and kitesurfers in north-easterly wind, with a designated kitesurf zone. At high tide, launching is risky near a concrete wall and overhead cables; below mid-tide is the recommended window. Unsupervised. Dogs and horse riding banned 1 June-30 September.
