A large, fine-sand, NE-facing beach at the sheltered head of a bay, backed by pine forest and a campsite. A kitesurf zone sits alongside a marked swimming basin; the bay's shape attenuates swell, making this calm-water rather than surf. Tidal range reaches up to 9.90 m, the sea retreats far at low water, and the SNSM notes violent tidal currents across the flats. Lifeguards cover the beach in season. Dogs and barbecues are permitted.
