A sheltered, roughly 500 m fine white-sand bay between cliffs, protected from prevailing winds and currents, giving calm, flat water rather than a surf break; an on-site nautical centre teaches surf, kayak, sailing and paddleboarding. The southern portion disappears at high tide, leaving only the north usable. Supervised late June-early September, 13:00-19:00, by lifeguards within a buoyed swimming zone; adapted wheelchairs are available.
