A wide, 2.5 km north-facing beach of white sand backed by wild dunes, an FFVL-labelled kitesurf, windsurf and foil hub where calm-water swimming is common. Sand gives way to non-dangerous rocks at low tide, with oyster beds and a stream by the launch area. In July-August the west end is school-only and the east edge a buoyed bathing zone. Dogs are banned since 2020; unsupervised, with tide retreating over 500 m at low water.
